Gathering Helpful Information

Just last week, I was asked, “do you know a good plumber and electrician?” And two weeks before, I was asked about a painter. And when our churches were merging, the first question folks asked is “does the Presbytery know how to help us? Is there a realtor we can trust? A builder?”

A list of recommended vendors would be a helpful resource for our churches. So, please take five minutes to respond with your recommendations. Either email Ilene in the office or  comment on this blog. We’ll keep track and have this information available in the Presbytery office. And let me know what other resources I haven’t mentioned, we’ll do a follow up post next week. Thanks everyone!

Human resources training would be helpful for church personnel committees, as well as COM. On Sun, Aug 28, 2016 at 5:48 PM Presbytery of New Brunswick BLOG wrote:

Kathryn, are you willing to talk to folks about human resource training or do you know a consulting contact that you can give us or did you want me to add that to the list?

We just successfully completed a 150K capital campaign to bring a 170 year old building and grounds up to current code and enable its service for the 21st century. We used many contractors and vendors over a variety of reconstruction issues. I highly recommend the following. Process and working with them very smooth and very transparent. Any need the phone or other contact please get in touch.

-Electricity/wiring: Trilone Electric of Stockton NJ
-Concrete-paving: Buchanan Construction of Lambertville NJ
    -Security/ fire suppression: Vector Inc.
-Computer System management/Web design: JWS Computers of Lambertville NJ
