Several churches in our Presbytery have met over the past year with Paul Grier and Ellie Johns-Kelley from the Presbyterian Foundation in a congregational sustainability initiative. Paul and Ellie provide outside perspective and knowledge regarding finances, church growth, resource development and faithful stewardship. You’re invited to this ongoing discussion. The next meeting will be:
Wednesday, February 3, Lunchtime: 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. at Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church: 154 South Mill Road, Princeton Junction
Wednesday Evening at 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church: 471 Parkway Avenue, Trenton
A light lunch will be served in Princeton Junction and refreshments in Trenton. We encourage you to arrive a few moments early as we will begin and adjourn promptly at the published times.
We will be discussing two different topics that overlap: reaching a younger generation of visitors and members, and the implications of pledged vs. non-pledged giving
Please let us know of your plans to attend: RSVPs may be made online at http://www.presbyterianfoundation.org/events. Clergy and lay leaders are encouraged to attend, and congregations may feel free to send multiple representatives.
